Pelin Tan is a sociologist and art historian works on urban issues related to contemporary art practices. Her Phd research was about> self-organized DIY practices, collective, socially engaged art practices in urban space.

 In her presentation she will talk about her research in different cities, artistic research practices and her urban projects in the first design biennale in Istanbul.
